What is a Creative Commons:
Founded in 2001, Creative Commons is a
nonprofit company whose mission is to assist people world wide in the proces of sharing their own work and building upon the work of others. By providing free CC licenses, the organization provides an opportunity for us and our students to use copyright friendly images, texts, music and more ethically. Creative Commons is a resource that has expanded and significantly since its inception, and is embedded in many places throughout the web in various search engines and more.
