What is Atomic Learning:

Atomic Learning is a website that provides you with instructional videos which will show you how to operate many different software programs.  When you are in district, you do not need a username or password.  From home, you will need to have the districtwide user name and password.  (Check with the tech person in your building for that login information.)  The website is paid for through district funds, and is intended for the use of students, staff, and their families in the Cherry Creek School District.  Instructional videos are also available in Spanish for your ELLs.

Instructional Strategies:

Use this tool, either for yourself, your family, or your students to help learn how to make a tool work for your project.  Because of the single topic nature of these short instructional videos, you can come to AtomicLearning if you have a very specific question about your software.  For example, if you'd like to know how to rearrange the worksheets in your workbook, you can catch a video, just on that topic, here

Lesson Examples:

This is not really the kind of tool you use for a lesson.  However, you can use it to introduce students to the software you will be using in your unit.   It is possible for you, or your students to learn how to use a piece of software from the very beginning to the end with this amazing resource.

Help Sheets:

Once you access the site, the best way to find your videos is to select Training Library  ---> Technology Skills  --->  English (or Spanish).  Next, select your platform, and then the correct letter for your program.
